The Kraken's Mate

Another day, another paranormal read (because why the hell not?). Here's Jennifer Cody's "The Kraken's Mate."

It was just supposed to be a test dive. I'd take the submersible down to the bottom of the Atlantic and then straight back up. If I got to see some cool ocean life, well, that's why we were live-streaming the dive.

Like...wow. There's the fun and unique aspect of Cam learning new things about the human world after awakening from hibernation. There's the utter awe of Soren seeing Cam, being obsessed with him as well as all other tentacle creatures. There's the two worlds meeting. The fluff and the sweetness. The dirty and filthy and utterly amazing steam (so. fucking. good.). 

I just...wow. I'm not a paranormal girl (usually), but Jennifer makes me want to amend that opinion.
