Jingle My Bells (Men of Fort Dale #1.5/#7)

I've been meaning to catch up on (binge-read) the rest of Romeo Alexander's works for a while now. I just realized that most of the Men of Fort Dale novels are relatively short, so here's to binge-ing. "Jingle My Bells" follows Dean and Sloane from "I'm Straight, Right?"

["Sloane: I think I can safely say I’m not straight, right? Dean and I have been together six months now and Christmas is coming up. I want to make it special for him and I have a great idea but it’s going to take some covert operations. Being in the army I’m good at that and I don’t think he suspects a thing!

Dean: Christmas with Sloane’s family will be great if we can just get through the damn airport! I’ve met them all before so I’m not nervous. Of course, we were just best friends then. Now I’m the boyfriend! One thing is making me nervous. Sloane is spending a lot of time on his phone, secret texts and conversations…I shouldn’t really be worried…should I?

Dean and Sloane’s first Christmas together is funny, cozy and deeply romantic. But, of course, not all plain sailing."]

This baby novella was SOOO cute! I loved how we got to have a peak of Dean and Sloane's life in between the end of their novel and the beginning of their novella. It was filled with family love, family support, and family teasing. It was filled with airport assholes and Christmas magic. It was beautiful (that Christmas present) and supportive (mom hugs and mom talks) and fluffy (constant words of support and care) and spicy (bedhead from sleep turned to bedhead from sex).
