We KNEW from the last book that these two were destined for each other. The instant...I'd say lust, but they were in utter denial about that for a while....instant feelings were strong, even if they were slightly hostile (can you say misconceptions)
It took some more misconceptions and miscommunications and missteps (and only one bed---room) for them to finally get on (or near) the same page. Plus some threats of violence and death and destruction (not big deal).
I gotta say, I'm obsessed with the scenting in this universe. It's cuddles but more vulnerable and more meaningful. It's really quite beautiful.
