Fake Boyfriend Breakaways (Fake Boyfriends Series #2.5, #3.5, and #4.5)

Another Eden Finley Series, another posting dump... Fake Boyfriends Series: "Fake Boyfriend Breakaways"

As promised, the novellas....

#2.5: "Rebound"
["Aron and Wyatt have been best friends since college and are both rebounding from bad break-ups. One night of drunken sex makes them question their whole friendship and what they’ve had right in front of them all along.
Best read after Trick Play in the Fake Boyfriend universe."]

This quote from the last page of the novella pretty much sums up my thoughts on the Aron/Wyatt story (which, again, isn't really a spoiler, if you think about it, because what's a romance without the happily ever after in the end?): "{To} Two blind motherfuckers who didn't realize their perfect partner had been by their side for eight years."
They fell into their relationship pretty fast after some mutual heartbreaks, but they've been slowly falling without knowing it for years so...

#3.5: "It's Complicated"

["Max has been in love with his childhood best friend, Ash, for years. The reason he has kept it a secret is because Ash also happens to be Max’s brother’s ex-boyfriend. Complicated doesn’t begin to explain their relationship.
Best read after Deke in the Fake Boyfriend universe."]

A desperate attempt to escape long-lost feelings, a realization of settling-won't-cut-it-here, and a whole lot of not communicating. I mean, if they would have talked in college (mini-spoiler), if they would have talked after the Ollie thing (not really a spoiler, if you read the others), and if they would have talked TO Ollie (okay so that is a start of a real spoiler so I'll stop there).
A pair much of very cute, very idiotic dumb boys in love.

#4.5: "Winning You"

["Marty and Luce win a blind date through a charity raffle. Marty is young and vibrant. Luce is older and a little bit bitter. In one night, they manage to change the course of each other’s lives.
This is a prequel of Hat Trick in the Fake Boyfriend universe."]

What's better bonding material than mutual attraction, mutual hate of their own first names, and mutual love of music (music being Jet's/JJ's/Jay's band from "Deke" and "Hat Trick" while touring in Ausie)? In the beginning, they both need something from the other, something that will help them get away from each other as soon as possible. In the end, they just need each other, nothing more and nothing less.
