Not sure if this qualifies as giving into social media posts or crossing things off my TBR, but here's Syn Blackrose's "Kill For You." It's the second novel in the Kozlov Brothers series.
["LEV
I don't do relationships. I don't do feelings. I don't do what's considered the norm. I love hurting people. I love their screams. I love their begging. I live for it. Until him. Aaron. He has his own version of crazy. His crazy mixed with mine? That's a recipe for disaster.
AARON
My life is not my own. My stepbrother won't let me go. I have to end him. I'm not normal. I fantasize about things I shouldn't and it's his fault. Lev. Lev has been my obsession since we started working for the Kozlov brothers. I need him. I want to be owned by him. I want to drown in his crazy until we are one."]
Lev is a different kind of crazy than his brother Dima. He's somehow more bloodthirsty, but in the act of kinda way, not end results kinda way. He's a different level of psychotic and a different section of the psychopath spectrum.
He found Aaron, the pull between the, and his feelings for a while, a long while. But the broken, just-as-crazy doe-eye boy kept reeling him in. He fascinated Lev on so many levels, until he was in so deep there wasn't a way out.
Lev wasn't as outrightly possessive/obsessive as Dima was, but he still put down threats and held his own against the world, threatening anything and everything that would hurt Aaron. When Aaron blushed and allowed himself to be vulnerable by telling Lev he was falling for him, Lev said "I'd kill for you", and it was somehow romantic as hell.
Life won't be easy for the Kozlov brothers with these men by their side, but they wouldn't want easy. Easy is boring. Taming a sassy brat is more fun anyway.
Trigger Warnings: graphic torture, sexual assault, homophobic language, murder, kidnapping, physical and mental abuse and manipulation, complex mental health issues, death of a parent when MC was a child, and more.
