The Christmas Veto (Festive Fakes #3)

There are SO many good Christmas novels that just came out. In addition to all of the non-Christmas movies that came out, and all of the ones I keep skipping, and all of the ones I say "this one's next." ANYway. Here's Keira Andrews's "The Christmas Veto;" it's the third in her Festive Fakes series.

["Can fake dating lead to true love?

My name’s Connor Lisowski, and here’s what you need to know about me:

I’ve had a massive crush on my best friend’s older brother since high school.

Everyone thinks I’m straight.

I have two dads but I’m afraid to come out.

I’ve never even been kissed.

And somehow, I’ve been roped into pretending to be Reid’s boyfriend for the holidays. Who’s Reid, you ask? Only the aforementioned best friend’s older brother who never looked at me twice.

Until now."]

Connor is Logan's stepson from the Logan/Seth festive fake in "The Christmas Deal" (book 1). His best friend, and roommate, is the daughter of Logan/Seth's boss, as well as Micheal/Will's boss (who festive faked in "The Christmas Leap"--book 2). A little bit of a mind-maze, but I love series that connect the characters in more than one way.

Also, going back and relearning who is who, there's a lot of bi-rep in this series. A lot of bi-erasure from old white ladies, but also a lot of positive bi information and representation (from our hot as fuck leading men).

I forgot how much I loved Connor. He's all prickly on the outside, but he's soft and warm and loving (oh so loving) on the inside. Reid's outwardly caring and confident nature matches him perfectly (as does his inner-dork and inner-klutz).
