Six of Crows (Crows #1)

Annnnnd, I've decided to re-read Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse series instead of starting one of my many, many (many) TBR piles. So here we are. Re-reading "Six of Crows"... for the third time. ;)

["Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price—and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can’t pull it off alone. . . .

A convict with a thirst for revenge

A sharpshooter who can’t walk away from a wager

A runaway with a privileged past

A spy known as the Wraith

A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums

A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes

Kaz’s crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction—if they don’t kill each other first."]

A queer, ya heist story (think Ocean's Eleven but with a steam-punk vibe and lots of money and angst and secrets and betrayal and being okay with who you are, just the way you are).

I just have so many feelings about this novel (one of my top five) and soooo many tumblr posts and memes and fan art. Far too many to share with you at this time. So do yourselves a favor and just read it, jump head-first into  Ketterdam (into the Crows universe) and then explore all of the inside jokes and heartbreak and newfound freedom.
